This is our 4th release of this killer Yakima Valley wine. We added a little twist with this vintage. In the past all the fruit has come from Dineen Vineyard in Zillah. This year we paired it with fruit from Meek Vineyard located 4 miles west of Red Mountain to create a dynamic duo that will really pow you. The result produced a wine that will zap you with dark fruit up front, finishing with mineral notes and earthiness. 380 cases produced.

Stevens 2006 Stevens BlackTongue Syrah (Yakima Valley); $32
An immense, black, moody wine with spectacular mix of black fruits, cassis, earth, soy and forest floor, it remains thoroughly delicious and polished despite its size. This will clearly improve with more bottle age, but itís already impressive and drinking well. Long and textural, the finish lingers with ground coffee and baking chocolate highlights.
